Avalanna Routh, only 6 years old, passed away yesterday. She had been fighting atypical teratoid rhabdoid tumor (AT/RT) for a long time. The news about that little girl’s death has touched me deeply and though they don’t know me, I would like to express my condolences to her family.
My sweetheart and I talked about this yesterday for quite a while. After that, he donated a lot of money he had saved during last month to The German Cancer Research Foundation. Thanks a lot, my dear – you are fantastic! :-*
I will follow his example this month and list all the unnecessary stuff I usually spend money for – cosmetics, clothes, sweets, just everything. I will save the money instead and by the end of the month donate it to Cure ATRT Now.
I would like to ask my readers to do the same. There is not much we can do against cancer, but at least we can support cancer research!
Last but not least, I’d like to ask you for another favour: NEYER. WAIT. GO. TO. YOUR DOCTOR. EARLY. If not for yourself, do it for the people who love and need you.
† Farewell, brave little Avalanna.
